Steel columns and footings were used to support new reinforcing channels sandwiching the rotten timber beams. Existing rotten wood sill plates were replaced and the stone foundation walls were shotcreted and repaired. New elevator was installed in the existing rear portion of the structure. The existing chimney was strengthened by installing new steel reinforcing cage and filling the existing chimney brick walls with concrete.
